à la carte services
My catch-all solution is where you purchase Blocks of Time for à la carte services.
This usually works well for a lot of rising seniors who need help with various parts of their college application. You can use this time for just about anything, such as 1) meeting one-on-one for mentoring, 2) answer questions via email or chat, 3) help research schools, 4) help review and edit essays, 5) help with the financial aid forms, or 6) generally whatever else we normally would do for a student.
Purchasing blocks of time for our direct involvement would be at the rate of:
up to 1 hour = $295
up to 3 hours = $825 (additional time can be added at the rate of $275/hour)
up to 5 hours = $1,275 (additional time can be added at the rate of $255/hour)
up to 10 hours = $2,250 (additional time can be added at the rate of $225/hour)
up to 15 hours = $2,925 (additional time can be added at the rate of $195/hour)
If you are interested in hiring me for only a specific issue, we will need to schedule a meeting to make sure we are a good fit for each other as well as to ensure I have time to fit you in.

JP is a wealth of information and a true pleasure to work with. As he consulted me regarding my son's college application process (2022 graduate), he had me re-visit the FAFSA for my daughter, a rising senior at Berkeley. He not only helped with my son's admission's strategy, he was able to assist with increasing aide for my daughter. His knowledge and experience combined with his cheerful disposition made a difficult process a breeze! I highly recommend JP!

We reached out to JP about our son, who is in his Freshman year in College. We had already submitted our FAFSA for his Sophomore year. We asked for help in finding scholarships and he showed us the two best FREE online resources for scholarships. On top of that, he took a few extra minutes to review our FAFSA and he showed us where we mistakenly reported assets that we did not need to disclose. The FAFSA can be tricky with the way they ask questions. JP helped clear up the confusion. Within minutes he helped us lower our EFC by nearly $50,000.
