- This course teaches your child how to better manage their time, develop effective study habits, organize their work, and enhance their focus both in and out of school. Woven into this course are aspects of social-emotional learning and executive functioning critical to academic success across all grade levels.
Digital SAT Test Prep -
- Designed to complement the original SAT Test Prep. The digital SAT is module-level adaptive. Meaning it is based on your child's performance on the first module of a given section, then students will be routed into a second module calibrated for a particular overall level of difficulty. Your child's scores will depend on both the number of questions answered correctly and the relative difficulty of those questions. The adaptive nature of the exam allows it to arrive at accurate scores with fewer questions over less testing time.
ACT Test Prep –
- First, your child will have access to a preliminary assessment of the ACT. I recommend doing the same with the SAT so your child can decide which test better suits them. The ACT training module includes lessons on each subject matter followed by quizzes to make sure your child is comprehending the material. At the end of each module, your child will be given access to two sample tests that are timed like the real thing. By the time your child finishes the test prep, they will have reviewed all the material and taken two realistic sample tests before they take the real one.
Financial Literacy -
- We have found that most high school students graduate completely illiterate when it comes to how money works. You may not realize it but knowing how money works can help your child become more successful in their college education and career. This course will be your child’s window into understanding loans, credit, debt, investing, taxes, insurance, financial planning, and so much more.
